PPL thanks

Say thanks to the parties protecting new parents' time at home

This election Fair Agenda secured pledges from the Nick Xenophon Team, Jacqui Lambie Network, Greens and ALP to vote against any cuts to paid parental leave.

Together, these parties hold the majority of seats in the new Senate, which means their votes will stop the Government from cutting the parental leave of tens of thousands of new parents.

It's a great commitment from these four parties, which will make a huge difference to tens of thousands of working parents, and their newborns.

With so much at stake, it's vital we not only thank these Senators for pledging to protect new parents' time at home -- but also show them we're still ready to mobilise and hold them accountable for their promise.

Can you help by sharing a thank you message for the Senators pledged, sharing why protecting parental leave matters to you?

Being able to afford to spend time at home caring for your new baby is precious.

Thank you for your pledge to vote against any cuts to paid parental leave.

Fair Agenda will email petition signers from time to time with important updates

"Children have a right to intensive care so they can have good living conditions and be good citizens. Child abuse is closer home than you think. Alchoholism is their biggest (often sparked off by mental disorders) threat not to mention industrial food and technology. Australia does not have to be a migrant country (double morals) if they look after their own new generations."
