Sign the card: Thanks for committing half a billion to tackle family violence

Last month the Victorian Government have announced an incredible $572 million of funding to address family violence in the state.

This investment is an historic act of leadership from Premier Daniel Andrews and his Government, and an important big step towards implementing the full recommendations of the recent Royal Commission.

It's all too rare that we see this kind of leadership, and on such an important issue. That's why it's critical we show this investment is supported by voters -- especially in an election year.

Can you sign your thanks to Premier Andrews and his government for their leadership on this issue? Fair Agenda members will deliver your messages of thanks to Parliament on Wednesday 8th June.

"As someone who has been verbally and mentally abused in a relationship. I have been fortunate to have had access to the Family Violence Clause at work. Funding means people worse off than me can seek refugee and assistance. Unfortunately our statistics on murders from domestic violence is horrific to say the least."

"To help to put family violence front and centre for all politicians and leaders of our community to start processes to bring about the much needed change that all types of violence particularly fa,ily violence is not acceptable in our society. My vision is that my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren do not experience family violence."
