Campaign action at Prime Minister Abbott's electorate office
Already in 2015 more than a dozen women have died as a result of family violence – taking the number of women killed at the hands of their partners from one a week, to two. Yet women fleeing family violence are set to lose critical support services, as a result of brutal federal government funding cuts. It’s unacceptable; and already more than 25,000 Australians have signed a petition demanding better.
This Friday, ahead of International Women’s Day, local Fair Agenda members will be taking these messages to the Prime Minister’s electorate office in Manly. Will you join us?
