Address workplace sexual harassment now
We all deserve a safe workplace – whether we’re working in the halls of parliament, cleaning an office, or waiting tables.
Yet, the Federal Government’s response to the Sex Discrimination Commissioner’s Respect@Work Report and its 55 recommendations to address sexual harassment in the workplace -- has massive gaps in it.
Our communities need and deserve major change. But we won’t see significant improvements to our safety at work unless the Morrison Government meaningfully implements all of the changes recommended in the Respect@Work Report - including requiring employers to provide safer workplaces, and providing better access to justice for those affected.
