Put safety wait times on politicians' desks

Every person who reaches out after experiencing domestic or sexual violence deserves to be met with help. Not on a waitlist for months. Help. But right now, our governments are choosing to leave women and children waiting.

Next month, our representatives lock in their budgets. That means right now, they're deciding whether to fund women's safety — or underfund it again.

We have a plan to make sure our state and federal government representatives know that voters want Australian women and children to be safe. We've put together a handout with information they can't ignore — the real wait times, the real gaps, and the fix. And we want it on their desks before the budget is finalised.

If we can get these wait times in front of as many decision-makers as possible, we can show them that there’s strong community support for properly funding women's safety services.

Can you take the facts of women's safety services wait times and put it on the desk of you local MP?
