Sign the card: Thanks for committing half a billion to tackle family violence

Last month the Victorian Government have announced an incredible $572 million of funding to address family violence in the state.

This investment is an historic act of leadership from Premier Daniel Andrews and his Government, and an important big step towards implementing the full recommendations of the recent Royal Commission.

It's all too rare that we see this kind of leadership, and on such an important issue. That's why it's critical we show this investment is supported by voters -- especially in an election year.

"I support any and all financial assistance by the govt (state and fed) to address dv/fv. Its been a long time that the govt accepted that an abuse in the home is costly. Its still sad that dv/fv is considered a civil action, not criminal. as I know when I lost the total sight in my my eye from a kick to my head. in my own home. however had I have been on the street with a stranger that charge would have been escalated. when is abuse in the home a lesser charge? Where is the justice? Reporting etc?"
