Help get vote-deciding information in front of key voters
New polling commissioned by Fair Agenda members shows that for 80% of undecided voters, their candidate’s stance on decriminalising abortion would influence the way they vote. What’s more, 50% of all voters say that if their preferred candidate wants to keep treating abortion as a crime, they will not vote for them.
Fair Agenda has set up online adverts targeting voters in key seats with information about where their candidates stand on decriminalising abortion. Each and every undecided voter we reach could be another vote in favour of a pro-choice candidate.
While support for decriminalising abortion in Queensland is high, awareness of these archaic laws is low. That means raising awareness before election day is critical.
