Can you help us show Xenophon voters need him to block all cuts to paid parental leave?
The Government is again trying to push through cuts to Paid Parental Leave that will tear time caring for newborns away from working parents. The deciding vote rests with the Nick Xenophon Team (NXT).
Over the weekend, Nick Xenophon stated he will “no longer back the changes [due to] an election survey completed by NXT for the independent Fair Agenda organisation", but now he says the party is still negotiating with the Government, and will make a final decision this Friday. [1,2]
Fair Agenda is teaming up with The Parenthood to put up a huge billboard just minutes from Nick Xenophon’s office in Adelaide. But we need to urgently raise $2,500 in order to get it up, and send NXT an overwhelming message that voters need them to stand by their election commitment.
If just 50 members chip in $40 each, we'll get there. Can you chip in today to help us put our message where the Xenophon Team can't miss it?
