Yet around Australian patients still face barriers to accessing the healthcare they need. In South Australia, abortion is still in the criminal law. And in WA, patients and staff still face a gauntlet of harassment and abuse trying to access abortion clinics.
Now, both parliaments are preparing to vote on reforms! Fair Agenda is working with pro-choice partners to mount a massive community effort to win change. But the cashed up and powerful anti-choice lobby are going to fight tooth and nail to maintain these archaic systems.
