What does the Sports Party stand for?

CAMPAIGN UPDATE: After more than 450 Fair Agenda members took action in this campaign, the story got picked up by 6 different news outlets, including the ABC, Daily Life and Triple J News. Then the Sports Party's lead candidate Wayne Dropulich was asked to explain why he thought the party's actions were appropriate. You can hear the highlights from that Radio National interview in this recording, from 16:00.

Crikey reports that the Australian Sports Party have shared a picture of topless women jogging as part of their election promotions.[1] You can see the original Facebook post here, or below.

With the Sports Party in with a chance to win a critical Senate seat in the upcoming WA re-run Senate election – we think it’s time to ask what they really stand for.

Join us in calling on the Australian Sports Party to take down their offensive post, apologise, and explain their position on women in sport and broader issues affecting women before the WA Senate election on the 5th April.

UPDATE: We've just asked the Sports Party, and representatives from the other parties running in this weekend's WA election, to declare their positions on the key issues that matter most to our members. Read more here.

"I dislike the generalisation and stereotyping of both women and men/gay men in this add. I find it all a bit distasteful."
