Reporting on abs?
In July this year, The Age ran a feature article on Minister Julie Bishop - Australia's first female foreign minister. The piece outlined Minister Bishop's dizzying schedule, challenging role, and the strong endorsements she's received from colleagues, including an official who says "she is the most impressive foreign minister we've had since Gareth [Evans]".
Yet, The Age featured the piece on their website's front page under the headline "I'm not obsessed with my body".
Fair Agenda members quickly organised to let The Age know they didn't want to see this kind of reporting on one of our top female politicians; helping push The Age to remove the headline within the hour.
